At AACC, we offer over a variety of associate degrees in fields ranging from Business Administration to Architecture, Human Services to Radiologic Technology. Some are designed primarily to prepare students for transferring to four-year institutions. Others, like our Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degrees, are career-focused programs that prepare you for immediate employment or train you for specific skills.
Starting your four-year journey at AACC can save you thousands of dollars in tuition and fees and improve your chances of admission and scholarships to your top choice colleges and universities. We offer four associate degrees designed specifically for four-year transfer: the Associate of Arts (A.A.), Associate of Science (A.S.), Associate of Arts in Teaching (A.A.T.) and the Associate of Science in Engineering (A.S.E.). AACC general education classes are guaranteed to transfer to any state college in Maryland, and we have additional transfer agreements with more than 30 colleges nationwide.
Along with associate degrees, we also offer a host of credit certificates programs and letters of recognition that can help you earn a better job, advance your career or demonstrate your mastery of specific skills. Some even lead to industry-recognized professional certifications. Certificates can typically be earned in 12-18 months, while letters of recognition can be earned in 12 months or less.
